Universal Law

Milky Way Galaxy
We generally consider our home to be a particular nation, or a culture, and subject to its laws, but we are are also citizens of the Universe, and therefore subject to Universal Law. Every atom in the Universe is subject to Universal Law. It is oftentimes pushed aside and forgotten, but it is  immutable, and when our actions go against it, we face the backlashes. Universal law is a unifying force, and the only possible basis for the legal system of the proposed international government.

Universal Law stands on seven principles--Equality, Liberty, Freedom, Compassion, Abundance, Capacity and Tolerance. These principles create a sense of balance. For example, the first requirement for conflict resolution is that both sides must be considered equal, and therefore, for a fair trial, there must be equality under the law.

Borders have been drawn and redrawn based on wars, and so the power game of war seems to work to gain control of natural resources and strategic locations, but wars are based on a belief structure goes against Universal Law, and so grabs for power always lead to a loss of power. Wars are started by people who believe they are more important than others and therefore have the right to put others down.  No one has the right to do that. Two power games based on weaving an illusion--genocides and slavery--and once the grand lie has been told, ripples of effects go out to draw in more and more people. The truth doesn't overcome the lie. The only thing that overcomes the lie is Universal Law.

Our first government proposal is the Exit Strategy for Iraq, which devolved not as a war, but a genocide, and an act of revenge, and so our first step to purify the US legal system is to introduce Universal Law. This is not a new idea, but a clarification of the misunderstanding that was leading to chaos in our system.
